Hamilton Hall / McMaster University / Hamilton

The perfect blue sky covers hovers over the beautiful building of Hamilton Hall at McMaster University, Hamilton.

This place has lot of memories for me where I spent two days of each week of last summer. [ I am pretty sure this picture will bring loads of nostalgia to "newly discovered- pro Canada- with super selling skills" blogger, Uzi ] It reminds me of all the funny discussions about university politics, hysterical laughters while swapping anecdotes of Pakiistani Student Associations and search for open coffee shops at 9 p.m on the campus, with my the-then student who happens to be the friend of younger brother. I was suppose to be tutoring him Fundamental Economics and I do vaguely remember teaching him few things too.

Oh well, he did get an A, I am not that bad as you were thinking. :)

I do not like the noise in the picture, where sky starts and building ends at the right top corner. I tried using Neat Image to reduce it, but it made the whole picture very artificially looking. Any ideas what setting should I use to reduce extra noise but still do not lose the originality of picture?

Mohib, Faraz, anyone ?

The Mighty Niagara River at Peace

I am not taking alot of picture lately, which by the way is not my fault. Actually credit goes to my last semester at school, crazy reports, mismanagement of sleep timings and USA. yeah! I wanted to say it since I came across this .

This picture is from sptember 2005 when sunshine was showering all its warm yellow bliss on us and Niagara River was flowing in a very unusual lazy elegance. We stopped the car for a while listened to the silence, soaked and stored the warmth for not so great days like the one we had today, all misty and foggy.

I can't wait for summer.

434 and 438 Runs in an ODI / O Mi Gosh

Historical Win, originally uploaded by abgpt.

Did anyone see that coming when two cricket giants, Australia and South Africa started series this spring.

HOLY CRAP!

434 runs by Australian Cricket team created a new world record of highest total BUT the fantabulous South Africans chased like whirlwind and won by one wicket, with a score card of 438. This new record broke the old one made by Srilanka against Kenya at Kandy in 1996. Here is the list of highest team totals.

Remaining on the topic but with a variation in mood, take at look here and let me know how you feel about this juxtaposition.

qiyamat ki nishanian hain bhi !
