The Sun and Shadow

The Sun equals life as does a person’s shadow equals death. But the person controls their shadow, but not the Sun.

The day a person controls the Sun is the day we lose control of our shadow, and something dire to us. Once a person controls something new, they lose control of its symbiotic brother in the process. It is basic human nature.A

nature that destroys more than a forest or land. And is more vast than the desert or grass. The true nature that rules this world, causes its destruction. If this continues, then the Sun will relinquish the Earth of its plague. Causing the annihilation of its nature, and quite possibly itself.

I do not like the way lower black part of picture meshes up with back background, if you see it separately here , u'll see why I like this picture.

Looking back

"I'm just saying- You can run away, avoid talking about this, but you know as well as I do that stuff we do in the past usually comes back to bite us in our respective 'assi' and what you did..."

Engaged

I am back and with a good news.

Ta da !

Hold on! Hold on ! Don't get so excited. Its not me

This picture is dedicated to my dearest and loveliest sister who was affianced this week among all the frenzy of my exams and her upcoming trip to England. Oh the Chaos! but all good times. I Wish her all the best and true happiness and blessings in future and always. And NO, this is not her hand and this umbrella sized ring is not hers. This picture is just iconic, which was taken a year back on a Pakistani wedding.

Thankyou all for checking on me and my blog, even when I had lost faith that I'll update my blog, EVER. Exams went real well, alhumdolillah. Thanks again for all you good wishes which I received online or offline.

For all music lovers, there is a great treat here . Go Enjoy !

Hamilton Hall / McMaster University / Hamilton

The perfect blue sky covers hovers over the beautiful building of Hamilton Hall at McMaster University, Hamilton.

This place has lot of memories for me where I spent two days of each week of last summer. [ I am pretty sure this picture will bring loads of nostalgia to "newly discovered- pro Canada- with super selling skills" blogger, Uzi ] It reminds me of all the funny discussions about university politics, hysterical laughters while swapping anecdotes of Pakiistani Student Associations and search for open coffee shops at 9 p.m on the campus, with my the-then student who happens to be the friend of younger brother. I was suppose to be tutoring him Fundamental Economics and I do vaguely remember teaching him few things too.

Oh well, he did get an A, I am not that bad as you were thinking. :)

I do not like the noise in the picture, where sky starts and building ends at the right top corner. I tried using Neat Image to reduce it, but it made the whole picture very artificially looking. Any ideas what setting should I use to reduce extra noise but still do not lose the originality of picture?

Mohib, Faraz, anyone ?

The Mighty Niagara River at Peace

I am not taking alot of picture lately, which by the way is not my fault. Actually credit goes to my last semester at school, crazy reports, mismanagement of sleep timings and USA. yeah! I wanted to say it since I came across this .

This picture is from sptember 2005 when sunshine was showering all its warm yellow bliss on us and Niagara River was flowing in a very unusual lazy elegance. We stopped the car for a while listened to the silence, soaked and stored the warmth for not so great days like the one we had today, all misty and foggy.

I can't wait for summer.

434 and 438 Runs in an ODI / O Mi Gosh

Historical Win, originally uploaded by abgpt.

Did anyone see that coming when two cricket giants, Australia and South Africa started series this spring.

HOLY CRAP!

434 runs by Australian Cricket team created a new world record of highest total BUT the fantabulous South Africans chased like whirlwind and won by one wicket, with a score card of 438. This new record broke the old one made by Srilanka against Kenya at Kandy in 1996. Here is the list of highest team totals.

Remaining on the topic but with a variation in mood, take at look here and let me know how you feel about this juxtaposition.

these shoes are made for walkin'

I know what are you guys thinking, "oh..its so Goblin Green." Yes, my new shoes are Green but not Goblin Green. They are Spring Green.

And I love my new pair of green suedes. Very comfortable, chic, trendy and for only $12 at after Christmas sale. Did you hear? Only for $12. WOW. The tag said $39 and I was very willing to pay that because am a comfort freak and dont give a damn to Chic-looking-but-feet-killing kinda shoes. I walked with these for the whole day and my feet told me that they are perfect for them.( oh only I can hear my feets talking.. shhh)

So, when the cashier told me I have an extra percentage on sale on them and they will be only for $12, I almost hugged her. Well I didn't hug her, but I wanted to. See, how often you get such deals? plus I am a happy girl and like to share happiness. *grin*
